Jody headed back out to the desert to dive back into her real job, Rand stayed home to work from and on da boat. Remember that LIST we mentioned? Well, it was time to start checking things off:
Overhaul watermaker and fix some leaks. Install Iridium antenna, requiring re-welding of dinghy davit. Troubleshoot refrigerator temperature. Source out bow sprit and drifter. Research new battery bank and solar charge controller settings for same. Repair cracks around new propane locker. Clean fuel and water tanks. Re-bed port side bow pulpit stanchion. Clear water and mold from bow compartment on port side. Connect wires to 12V plugs in the cabins. Fix windless jam and replace control box/battery. Get Mexican TIP. Get boat insurance. Switch to T-Mobile. That’s a pretty good start. And about 1/3 of our list. Yow.
You guys are going for it-hooray! It is fantastic to keep up with you via blog, though I would like to actually chat sometime… So the list is long, but you two are are a more-than-capable team.
